SMITH CHARGES MEMBERS OF STAFF TO EMBRACE TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS FOR EFFECTIVE SERVICE DELIVERY

The Chairman, Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools (SCRPS) in lagos state, Mr Hakeem Smith has advised the members of staff to embrace a more effective time management skills at work in order to improve effective service delivery in the state.

He gave this remark during a two- day board members and management retreat, held in lagos on thursday, added that the meeting became necessary in order to re-strategize on how to further deliver effectively on the mandate expected of the office.

He disclosed that, the theme of the retreat tagged: “Strategic Leadership And Time Management ln The 21st Century” was carefully chosen to re-awaken the minds of the staffs, towards the huge task ahead of them, in order to use the knowledge imparted at the retreat, to transform positively the infrastructure decay in Lagos public schools.

He enjoined the staffs to uphold hardwork, honesty, resilience and utmost dedication to their duties as much is expected of them by Lagosians. The Chairman was optimistic that this retreat will no doubt boost the moral of the staff and further sharpen their skills to make a difference in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities. Smith, however, acknowledged the kind gesture of Mr Governor, for approving the retreat, while assuring that, SCRPS will leave no stone unturn in delivering its on-going. projects within the expected time frame.
