IBEJU LEKKI COUNCIL CHAIRMAN INAUGURATES REVENUE BOARD, CHARGES THEM ON SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE

The Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa today inaugurated members of the Revenue Board.The Council Chairman represented by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon Adewale Adebanjo, in his speech reiterated the need for Internal Generated Revenue to enhance the efforts of Government in service delivery and community development. Furthermore, The Council Chairman harped on the need to harness more of the Council’s trapped economic resources to enable the Local Government Administration provide maximally in the provision of infrastructure and more of social services.

Speaking on behalf of the Executive Committee members, the Supervisor for Special Duties, Hon. Ajibola Elemoro congratulated the new Board Chairman and his entire team while charging them to do more as the success of the administration lies in their hands as he is confident that they’ll make the Government proud, while the Supervisor for Works, Hon Mutiu Saheed Anjorin chipped in that cooperation among team members is key to their success.

Responding, the Revenue Board Chairman, Hon. Ajina Kabir Adeshina, a financial expert, thanked the Hon Olowa led administration and promised never to disappoint in the discharge of their duties as the revenue net will be widened maximally.

Members of the Board include, Hon. Shafari Saheed Adeleke (Vice Chairman), Engr. Olubunmi Akitoye (Council Manager), Mr. Sunday Onabanjo (Council Treasurer), Mrs. Abowaba Olaronke (Legal Adviser).

Also present at the inauguration are the Supervisor for health, Hon. Tajudeen Oniwonlu, Special Adviser on Agriculture, Hon. Olusola Edalere, Special Adviser on Civic Engagement, Alhaja Wakilat Odupe.
