Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo (BAO) of Ifako-Ijaiye federal constituency has won the Jay 9 League Grassroots Man of The Year Award for the year 2021. The organizers of the league and the managers visited and presented the award to BAO at his residence.
Jay 9 League is a sporting establishment in Ifako-Ijaiye which has engaged a lot of youths and taken many off the street through her sporting activities. The same outfit has been in partnership with Ojokoro LCDA in the area of sport over time.
Jay 9 League Management Limited through her team lead, Mr Chuks Odinachi made known that Olabinjo is different and distinct from others and his contributions to youth development and other sectors from time immemorial is a record that is yet to be broken by anyone. “Thus he deserves to be honoured and that is why we have come to present this to him at home”, he said.
Responding; BAO appreciated the Jay 9 Team and assured them of more support as being with the people is the best anyone can give his or her constituency.
“I always ensure I stand and be with my people. That is me and that has always made me happy so I will always give support to them at all times”, BAO said.
