The Nigeria Centre for Disease and Control (NCDC) has advised Nigerians and everyone celebrating this Sallah season to protect their friends and families during the celebration of the 2020 Eid Kabir as the COVID19 pandemic is still very much around and it spreading like wide fire.
The NCDC said this on her verified Twitter handle where it calls for the protection of the aged most especially people above 60years and others with underlying ailment as their tendency of recovering if contracted with COVID19.
“COVID19 may cause severe complications in the elderly and people with underlying health conditions”, the tweet reads in parts.

It further urged all and sundry to take responsibility in the protection and guide of their loved ones as it’s calls for safe Sallah celebration.
