COVID-19: Hon. Olotu Emmanuel gifts noodles, provisions to residents again

Hon. Olotu Emmanuel of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area again gave out palliative packages to the good people of the council to cushion the effect of the lockdown order of the government on the people of the council area.

The palliative according to Olotu is to complement 200,000 super palliative of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwolu which cuts across the 20 Local Government Area in the State and LCDAs and to further support several palliatives also dolled out by Ojokoro council boss, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani and other well-meaning people who have continued to support the human race in this pandemic period.

Speaking with LUTJADPAD, Olotu made known that, the second phase of his stimulus materials is to cater for those who never benefitted from the four million and fifty thousand (N4, 050, 000.00) dole out during the previous lockdown where eight-hundred and ten (810 beneficiaries) smiled home with N5,000each while others got theirs through bank transfer.

“This packs of noodles, sugar, tea and milk will go to many more people again because I derived please when I put smiles on people’s faces”.

“Almighty God that gave me little from his abundance knew that I cannot spend all the money alone and that was why he gave me to help the needy and the vulnerable. If I Didi not do it, he will raise another person who will even do it better than myself”, Hon. Olotu Emmanuel said.

He said, giving in the holy month of Ramadan is very significant as God will reward every giver bountiful more than every other day. “I am happy that the second phase falls in this month and it will also be of help to our Muslim beneficiaries. I wish them all Ramadan Kareem”, he said.

“These second round of palliatives shall cut across over 300 hundred people because I want it to be a substantial one and I pray God gives me the strength to do more so that other people too can benefit during the next phase again”.

Giving kudos to the Lagos State Governor, Mr Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu for his steadfast and viral measure in the fight against COVID-19, Hon. Olotu Emmanuel further urged the people continue to obey all the rules and regulations of the government in the fight against Coronavirus and most especially all regulations and the twelve rules of Mr. Governor which will guide Lagosians as the federal government relaxes the lockdown relaxes from May 4th 2020.
