“As an association, we are not happy with the kidnap of Barr. Agbale. We will not hesitate to resume our boycott of courts if the kidnap of lawyers in Edo State continues.” He added

Information has it that the kidnappers obtained ransom before the commissioner was released, but the exact amount was not made known to the press.

Upon his release, Barr Agbale was immediately taken for medical checkups in an unrevealed hospital.

Efforts to reach the Edo police spokesman Chidi Nwabuzor, to confirm the report was proved abortive.
