The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Hon. Hammed Tijani, today received representatives from SUBEB as they commensurate with the LCDA and the parent of late kabirat Iyanuoluwa Animashaun , a primary four pupil of Oko -oba primary School whose life was lost under a pathetic and unfortunate incident caused by flood which swept her away on thursday 12th, 2020.

The representative led by Hon. Wahab Alawiye king, the Executive Chairman of SUBEB, who upon hearing at the victim’s house that Hon. Tijani had earlier paid a condolence visit, felt the need to reciprocate the kind gesture and good work of the man whose praises was sang for his prompt response, care and concern over the unfortunate incident.

“Provision of adequate accommation and ensuring safety of lives and properties are part of our main commitment, the reason why we had provided Educational aids for the pupils in government schools and mobility for our forces so as to curb crime giving enabling environment for learning, yet, nature still claimed the life of this young star” Tijani lamented.

Mrs Taiye Oguntona, who is the Acting Board secretary and director Administration, appreciated the contribution of the LCDA to the promotion of educational growth which is the bedrock of modernisation and prays that such an occurrence will not be witness again in our locality.
